I know its been a while since I have added anything to the website but to be honest nothing much has been happening musically.
Today, I wanted to give an update on what I’ve been doing over the last 6 months.
Basically, moved into my new home on the South Coast, NSW, Australia and slowly settling into the area.
I was approached earlier in the year by a new publisher who wants to pitch my book to a new traditional publisher so been reviewing my original manuscript and making some changes but not sure if anything will come of my new investment, although I do hope the book will get the exposure that I think it deserves, watch this space.
Been seeing stacks doctors about neck, back, legs and hands(Trigger Finger and Carpal Tunnel), so it feels like that list of mine is getting longer. Since November 2022 I’ve had several operations on both my hands to sort out the Trigger Finger and Carpal Tunnel problems in both hands. Had the last operation in April this year and in the process of healing and trying to get back to playing the guitar(the most important thing). It is taking longer than I expected for it to heal but I hope to be playing gigs again by November 2023 or maybe early 2024. Very frustrating, but I have started playing open mics when I can, just to help the healing process (after consulting my hand physio).
I got the builders in a week ago to start work on my deck in the back yard, ready for summer. It looks really good so far and I think the finished product will be AWSOME… 🙂
Going to the regular the Open Mic at the Tukka Cafe, Moruya this evening (5.30-9.30), should be good!
